Karin is licensed Realtor with more than 26 years of experience in real estate. Prior to joining the Leighton Team, Karin was part of the rental management units at Pretty Picky Properties Vacation and Old Cape Sotheby’s Vacation. During this time, she also owned and operated a real estate company in New Mexico conducting sales through Christie’s Great Estates and Sotheby’s International Realty. Over the years she has earned a variety of designations; CRS, SRES, ABR, RSP. The knowledge gained from these experiences enable her to provide valuable service to our clients.

Karin is an avid competitor of horse sports, and has participated in dressage and jumping competitions in Germany. She has also taken part in the AQHA and NRHA competitions, in New Mexico.

Karin was the President of the Chatham Rotary Club in 2021. She enjoys civic work, tennis, golf, travelling, reading and taking her German Shepard Dog, Heidi to beaches and ponds
